Overview

Cococo is an ocean travel booking app. Built by mentors of Apple Developer Academy for study case.

Problem

The post-booking page is an important factor in driving customer retention. However, Cococo is still in its early stage, so the post-booking page is currently blank. The goal is to improve the post-booking experience within 4 weeks.

User Persona

The Group Planner Crew who is always initiate to set a rundown, seek a travel vendor via social media, book a trip, etc.

Pain Points

  • User must repeatedly share meeting points, rundowns, and packing lists.
  • You are a primary contact of everyone’s questions
  • Important information often gets lost in WhatsApp groups, affected on members often ask the same question
  • Group chats become disorganized as the trip date gets closer.

Research & Ideation

We conducted interviews with users to understand their experiences during travel and identify key pain points. After gathering insights, we priorited the problem that we want to solve within 4 weeks based on their size and impact. The next step is to find a solution. We benchmarked competitors such as Traveloka and Grab to analyze their features, services, and user experience as references for improvement.

Solutions

  • Add travel information in the app, including direct location by maps
  • Bookmark button to save a trip information
  • Share booking information by a link
  • Set a reminder integrating with calendar
