Overview

Spacenauts is a 3D spaceship docking simulation game that delivers immersive experience. The goal is to inspire kids to curious about space through fun way.

Inspiration

Space is full of amazing and mysterious things that humans are still learning about. We want to inspire kids to love space, science, and exploration in a fun way. That’s why we created a spaceship docking game where players control a spaceship just like real astronauts 🚀

Research & Ideation

We started by researching the types of games kids usually play today. Then, we conducted benchmarking by analyzing popular games and existing educational space games. After that, we generated ideas through brainstorming using whiteboards and sticky notes. Finally, we conducted concept testing with around 20 kids in schools to gather feedback and validate the concept.

• Player select a mission
• Player finish a mission by docking spaceship
• Player unlock new level

• Player can control spaceship in multidirectional way
• Player can docking a spaceship to space station
• Player can choose a spaceships

• 100+ booth visitors in exhibition day (TalentSpark 2025)

• 5+ usability testing participants across multiple rounds
